Dec 2017 : Pre-grouted anchors for faster excavatations
Duba ISCC Green Power Plant 1 is a large power infrastructure project taking place in the North West of Saudi Arabia, on the Red Sea. The project, based on the ISCC technology (Integretad Solar Combined Cycle) is a combined Gas (500 MW) and Solar (additional 50MW) power generation plant.
For Duba Green Power Plant, Dextra supplied its Geotec Double Corrosion Protection (DCP) Permanent Steel ground anchors to prevent soil movement in the perimeter of the excavation.
For this project, Dextra provided a "factory grouting" service, meaning that the anchors arrived at the site as pre-grouted 12-meters segments, ready to re-connect via couplers and to install.
