Petronas RAPID
Petronas RAPID (Refinery And Petrochemical Integrated Development) is a massive petrochemical complex located at the very south of state of Johor, Malaysia, across the sea facing the city-state of Singapore.
The RAPID development, commissioned in 2016, aims to add a 300,000 bbl per day of capacity to the existing local production, making it a strategic development for the Malaysian peninsula.
For this project, Dextra has supplied its Bartec system for the construction of the precast piperacks accross the the project. 30,000 Bartec Headed Bars were used to create horizontal anchoring points for piperacks beams.
The project was supported by a Bartec machine, installed directly at site and commissioned by the Dextra team.
